Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Participate in design-build project planning, design programming, and development of project outline specifications.
  • Oversee project design team to ensure design is completed in accordance with outline specifications and overall project program.
  • Responsible for the management of design-build construction. Coordinate with the project design team through the completion of the design while projects are under construction.
  • Manage construction and closeout on assigned projects ensuring budget, schedule, and customer satisfaction are met.
  • Prepare conceptual and detailed estimates.
  • Prepare contracts for subcontractors and change orders for subcontractors and clients.
  • Manage submittal process to ensure materials are procured in advance of being required on-site.
  • Monitor, review, and control project costs.
  • Coordinate drawings, budgets, schedules, and other project-related matters with the job site superintendent.
  • Keep the supervisor informed on the ongoing status of assigned projects and potential projects.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, internal office staff, and field personnel.
  • Assemble members of the organization at the start of a project and maintain close communication throughout.
  • Manage supervisory and engineering personnel, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • 1-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects.
  • Strong project management and administrative skills.
  • Familiarity with Procore or similar project management software.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain project details clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
