Technical Program Manager

This role is Hybrid is San Jose, CA ( 2 days of the week to office is mandatory )

Please only apply if you have strong Technical Program Management experience only. This is not a Project Management role. You have to have experience over large Programs & also have a lot of Technical experience in Information Technology

Qualifications

• Strong experience of implementing and delivering data initiatives as a technical program manager, Tech lead or equivalent
• You have hands-on experience in technical program management building platform/ environments
• Building Systems (physical/ cloud/ VM's), Database (Oracle , Exadata, MySQl, Big Data, Hadoop or SAP), Network, San storage, monitoring
• Experienced in driving technical programs in ecommerce, retail sales, or data technologies space with good understanding of software engineering practices
• Own strategic initiatives and work with a passionate team of Product and Engineering Leaders to deliver successful outcomes You demonstrate passion for details with the ability to ideate and problem solve actively with business leaders, product, and engineering stakeholders You create informative succinct executive summary program reports You are passionate about automating repetitive tasks You're able to use metrics to improve performance
• You're excited about solving complex challenges
• You're customer-centric in spirit and in execution
• You've worked in a highly matrixed environment driving results You are comfortable with ambiguity
• One or more Agile certifications:
• CSM, PMI ACP etc
• PMP, or similar detailed knowledge of formal project management processes

• Bachelor of Science and 5 years' technical program management experience OR Master of Science and 2 years' technical program management experience OR 9 years' technical program management experience

Responsibilities

• As a Technical Program Management, you will drive several complex programs, forming a portfolio of efforts that are geared towards achieving business goals while implementing key strategies
• You'll be working on the best of breed and cutting-edge technology several platform domains
• Working across the organization and company to drive outcomes, aligning with business owners and stakeholders, mitigating risk, and delivering value to our internal and external customers Inspire and energize cross-functional teams to achieve our vision, define our strategy, evaluate our business, and identify opportunities to work better and deliver value to our internal and external customers Collaborating with program stakeholders (product, engineering, operations) to develop and drive overall program goals
• Identifying and managing critical path workflows and cross-functional dependencies; collecting and analyzing project metrics to manage initiatives and drive accountability; identifying and resolving bottlenecks
• Defining frameworks and executing program roadmaps and schedules for multiple workstreams
• Owning and driving stakeholder engagements for quarterly business planning process, KPI definition, executive updates, and agile practices

The Clients Program Management Office drives the execution of the rhythms needed to achieve Platform's goals in an agile, predictable, and efficient manner. You will bring Program Management Office best practices to the Clients initiatives. You will play your part in innovating on the world's largest stage, you'll deliver customer-centric solutions for some of our most strategic operating frameworks. As a Technical Program Management, you will drive several complex programs, forming a portfolio of efforts that are geared towards achieving business goals while implementing key strategies. You'll be working on the best of breed and cutting-edge technology several platform domains. These technologies are at the apex of scale in collaboration with engineers, technical product managers, operations, and business stakeholders.
