Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at The Practice. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, treatment, and medication management to patients. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. This role is located in Jacksonville, FL, with flexibility for some remote work. It may not require 5 full days in the beginning. Perfect for transitioning a provider into private practice.


Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nursing with specialization in Psychiatric/Mental Health
  • Valid state license and board certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
  • Experience in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and medication management
  • Excellent knowledge of psychopharmacology and evidence-based practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach
