Matrix Providers is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Psychiatric-Mental Health to become part of our skilled team providing healthcare services to Military Service Members and their families.
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Compensation: This position is hourly, with bi-weekly payments.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM, with shifts ranging from 8.5 to 9 hours.

Qualifications: The Nurse Practitioner (NP) must fulfill the following criteria:
- Education: Master’s degree in nursing.
- Training: Graduation from an accredited nursing program recognized by a regional or national nursing accrediting body.
- Certification: Must be certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the relevant specialty by recognized organizations; must also hold Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
- Experience: Must meet clinical competency requirements as specified by service-specific credentialing guidelines.
- Licensure: Must possess a current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license.
- Provide two (2) professional references from a manager, director, or direct supervisor attesting to the applicant's clinical abilities, including their contact information and signature.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a comprehensive range of outcome-oriented nurse practitioner services in accordance with privileges granted by the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF), including general screenings and medical evaluations for various conditions.
- Provide technical direction and education to other staff, conduct evidence-based educational sessions, and participate in in-service training.
- Diagnose and manage patients with common acute conditions, chronic diseases, or minor injuries following established protocols and guidelines.
- Encourage preventive care and health maintenance through annual check-ups, positive health practices, and self-care education.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with a diverse healthcare team to enhance patient and family education and care.
- Identify conditions requiring isolation and ensure adherence to universal precautions in all patient interactions.
- Participate in staff meetings for case discussions, ongoing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
