We’re looking to hire a Freelance Production Artist/Package Designer for our pharmaceutical company client.


  • You’ll join the Creative Team to create product packaging artwork.
  • 3 + years experience in artwork production for packaging in the Pharmaceutical industry.
  • This is a 6 month role with the opportunity to extend.
  • The role is hybrid onsite 3x a week in Irvine, California.
  • Hourly Pay: $43hr.


Responsibilities:

  • Create and edit artwork packaging specifications, equipment specifications, print supplier requirements.
  • Review artwork for adherence to requested changes, technical requirements, and printing considerations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Art Design, Print Media.
  • Must have experience in multi-page formatting, typesetting long documents, and stylesheets. Foreign Language typesetting experience preferred but not necessary.
  • 3 + years experience in artwork production for packaging in the Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Skilled in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, and Barcode Software.
  • Knowledge of pre-press file preparation, printing, and packaging industry practices.
