The HR Manager will play a critical role in shaping the HR landscape of our organization. This individual will be responsible for managing HR activities across corporate and field operations, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. The HR Manager will also focus on talent development, employee relations, and aligning HR strategies with business objectives. With a hands-on approach, the ideal candidate will lead by example, fostering a culture of growth, compliance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee comprehensive onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for employees entering and exiting the organization, while maintaining alignment with business objectives.
  • Direct the recruiting process from start to finish, including strategy development, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection, ensuring the attraction and hiring of top talent.
  • Handle heavy employee relations responsibilities for both corporate and field environments, acting as a mediator to resolve conflicts, address grievances, and build a positive work culture.
  • Spearhead the learning and development initiatives within the organization, including the creation, implementation, and tracking of training programs to ensure employee growth and compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, ensuring the organization’s HR practices are updated, documented, and fully compliant.
  • Conduct terminations and manage performance appraisal processes, providing clear communication and ensuring that all procedures are carried out with respect, fairness, and legal compliance.
  • Develop and mentor HR team members, encouraging continuous learning and improvement to enhance team capabilities and effectiveness in supporting the organization's HR needs.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and ensure compliance across all states of operation.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years in HR, with a minimum of 1 year in a management role, preferably within the distribution, manufacturing, or logistics sectors.
  • Bilingual abilities are heavily preferred, especially proficiency in Spanish, to effectively communicate with and support our diverse workforce.
  • Experience in similar industries (distribution, manufacturing, logistics) is required.
  • Proven track record in both corporate and field HR roles, with hands-on experience in employee relations, talent development, and HR strategy.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to balance people needs with business requirements, grow team skills, and maintain a strong presence in decision-making processes.
