Our partner is owned by major commercial banks and serves as a critical provider of payment system infrastructure. Ideally, the individual is expected to create, concise, and comprehensive documentation for their products or services.


Location: Winston-Salem, NC (Hybrid)


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of documentation
  • Write and edit user-friendly content for various types of documentation, including user guides, manuals, and tutorials
  • Organize and maintain a centralized repository of all documentation
  • Update documentation as needed to reflect product changes and enhancements
  • Incorporate feedback from users and internal teams to continuously improve documentation quality
  • Ensure documentation complies with company standards and industry best practices
  • Assist in developing templates and style guides for consistent documentation creation
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Documentation Writer, Technical Writer, or similar role
  • Strong writing and editing skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into easy-to-understand documentation
  • Proficiency with documentation tools, such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, or similar software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field
  • Familiarity with software development processes and Agile methodologies is a plus
