At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.We are seeking an experienced TEMPORARY Technical Writer to join our team in Salem, MA. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating/combining technical documentation that effectively communicates complex information to our audience. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing skills, a keen eye for detail, and, most importantly, a very strong command of Microsoft Word.Main responsibilities:
Produce high-quality technical documentation including manuals, user guides, and other supporting materials;
Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and translate technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation;
Organize and present information logically and ensure consistency in writing style and formatting;
Utilize advanced features of Microsoft Word to create and format documents, templates, and style guides efficiently;
Ensure all documentation complies with company standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements;
Manage document version control and updates to keep documentation accurate and up to date.
Participate in reviews and revisions to improve the quality and usability of documentation.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Technical Writer with a strong portfolio of documentation.
Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Word, including advanced formatting, templates, styles, and document management;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into easily understandable documentation;
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively;
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work;
Experience with other technical writing tools and software;
Familiarity with full windows office suite.
