- Generate Repair reports specific to customer standards
- Laise with Shop floor and Manufacturing Engineers on the upcoming parts and gather the necessary inputs to create reports.
- Work on SAP to gather customer PO information, part drawings, reference reports
- Create I&A and Repair travelers.
- Ensure reports are formatted and created in line with required standards by reviewing thoroughly before submitting the reports to Manufacturing Engineers for approval.
- Prioritize work as per the shop requirements, ensure reports are available when parts are ready for shipment.
- Maintain a tracker on all report requests with a delivery plan in place, share weekly status to customer and reporting manager
Work Experience
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Prior experience working as a Technical writer and experience in manufacturing plant
- Understanding repair process of Turbine blades and vanes.
- Work with SAP, MS Office
- Strong communication & presentation skills
- Excellent team player to support and serve the global team
- Ability to work independently with clarity on scope and responsibility
- Work attitude: loyal, transparent, open to new ideas and flexible/situational adaptability due to the volatility of the market and constantly changing conditions
- Proactive and Solution Oriented.
