Summary:

Verigent's client is seeking a skilled and motivated Data Center Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure, server environments, and various IT systems. You will ensure reliable network performance, server stability, and proper configuration of both Linux and Windows systems.


Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain network devices, including routers and switches.

• Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and redundancy.

• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including connectivity and routing problems.

• Install, configure, and manage VMware ESXi environments, including VM provisioning and maintenance.

• Install, configure, and maintain both Linux and Windows operating systems on physical and virtual servers.

• Perform routine system checks and updates, ensuring system security and performance.

• Configure and maintain DNS and DHCP services to ensure reliable network functionality.

• Configure and maintain proxy servers, ensuring secure and efficient internet access for internal users.

• Ensure systems comply with security protocols and company policies.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, systems setups, and procedures.


Qualifications:

• Understanding of network principles, including basic routing and switching concepts.

• Hands-on experience with installing, configuring, and managing VMware ESXi environments.

• Proficient in managing and troubleshooting DNS and DHCP services.

• Ability to install, configure, and maintain Linux systems.

• Strong experience with installing, configuring, and managing Windows server environments.

• Experience with IP address management tools and proxy server configuration.
