This position reports to our Sales Director - Wholesale.  The role we are seeking is a full-time sales representative calling on golf and specialty accounts in the southeast market, primarily North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.  


Essential job functions

  • Position yourself for success by passionately believing in Criquet’s products, living the company’s values, and being fully committed to providing great service and partnership to your customers. 
  • Sell all Criquet products to green grass, off-course golf retailers, and select men’s specialty shops in the southeast. 
  • Market Criquet to new and existing customers who reach the Criquet target audience and have the ability to have sales success with Criquet products.
  • Build great and trusting relationships with your customers to establish a platform for ongoing and future growth.
  • Develop a territory coverage plan which will allow for efficient coverage of the territory and for an organized daily work schedule.
  • Monitor competition and industry trends and report findings back to Criquet.
  • Utilize social media to expand Criquet’s exposure in the market and create opportunities to interact and engage with customers.
  • Contribute to the Criquet team with related and additional tasks as needed


Qualifications

  • Ideally, some combination of a strong sales track record, a contact list and network of golf professionals or specialty buyers in the territory, and/or a passion and belief in the Criquet brand to help you take advantage of this great opportunity.  
  • The desire and motivation to be great at sales.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.  
  • Ability to travel throughout the territory, including overnight stays. 
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and able to use technology to improve your sales and communication efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to make presentations to both individuals and groups. 
  • Capacity to build genuine relationships with your customers. 
  • Experience in retail is a plus.


Compensation:

  • Base Salary + Commission + Bonus (as earned)
