Packaged Application Development Manager (Accenture LLP; Sacramento, CA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Packaged Application Development Manager in Sacramento, CA, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
  • Develop or update project plans for information technology projects, including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
  • Implement technologies based on customer requirements.
  • Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system rollouts, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications.
  • Identify and assess complex problems that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors, and create solutions for implementation by the team.
  • Supervise a team to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.
  • Conduct project and issue management (including status reporting, issue reporting, ETC/budget reporting) for assigned scope of work, and make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management.
  • Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Implementing Oracle PeopleSoft ERP Financials, including Payables, General Ledger, and Commitment Control solutions to meet client contract requirements;
  • Implementing Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition solutions to meet client contract requirements;
  • Implementing Public Sector accounting solutions, including solutions with cash basis, full accrual, modified accrual, GAAP, balances conversions, and month-end close and financial year-end close processes;
  • Utilizing PeopleTools Application Designer, Workflow, Application Engines, and SQL and reporting tools, including PS Query and BI Publisher, to deliver client contract requirements;
  • Report status to project leadership and client stakeholders, coordinating with client teams, and managing onshore and offshore teams;
  • Acting as a Functional Lead or Product Manager in a large-scale project to implement Oracle PeopleSoft solutions, including managing and directing the work of a team to analyze user or system requirements, design, development, testing, and implementation of enhancements; and
  • Gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, As-Is and To-Be business process designs, functional configuration, testing, and client user training.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.

Pursuant tothe California Transparency Bill,the offered wage for thisroleis $142,600.00 per year.
