Our client, a Top Tech/Entertainment Company, is looking for a Social Media Manager with experience or interest in Sports This will be an 11 month contract and hybrid to Culver City.


Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee, contribute to, and execute social editorial and promotional calendar for a broadcast social channel and individual sports originals titles with special attention paid to properties within the company portfolio.
  • Advise social leadership on go-to-market planning for upcoming campaigns using current platform and editorial trends.
  • Pitch, develop, and plan breakthrough social creative that drives high engagement before, during, and/or after our live events.
  • Utilize strong sports editorial judgement to recognize and curate socially-relevant moments that connect sports originals titles with live broadcasts and around the sports landscape, utilizing content production tools to optimize posts for each platform.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with agency partners who support day-to-day operations.
  • Collaborate with the brand social team and other cross-functional teams to make the biggest impact for priority moments broadcasts.
  • Utilize insights and reporting to recommend changes to content and strategic approach.
  • Build relationships and become a trusted partner with the external leagues/organizations we work with and athlete/talent teams
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the teams CMS.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in social media marketing
  • Prior experience or personal interest in sports
  • Experience with Grabyo, Photoshop and Premiere Pro
