**Job Overview: **

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Buyer II to join our purchasing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring high-quality goods and services at competitive prices, ensuring effective inventory management and maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers. The Buyer II will play a crucial role in the organization's supply chain and will be expected to lead by example with their expertise in contract negotiation, logistics, and supply chain management.

**Key Performance Objectives: **

• Buying / Purchasing Inventory. Responsible for all overseas and domestic suppliers within position scope. Accurately creates PO’s using LEM’s ERP system. Ensures accurate pricing and unit of measure (UOM).
• Systems management. Maintain accurate and timely systems records for all PO’s / containers / dates / pricing / suppliers, etc. in Excel.
• Container Management. Manage incoming containers scheduling with warehouse staff.
• Back orders / Open PO’s. Track and take necessary action with any back order or open POs with domestic and overseas suppliers.

**Required Qualifications**

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or purchasing. Plus 3 or more years’ experience in purchasing required. An associate degree plus a minimum of 8 years purchasing experience may be considered.
• Domestic and overseas buyer experience required, with a background in Asian markets.
• Strong communication skills with overseas suppliers as well as great interpersonal communication skills to work with other departments.
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel (i.e., v-lookup and pivot tables) with the ability to analyze and do unit of measure and other math calculations.
• Good understanding of purchasing and inventory management disciplines.
• Speaking Mandarin would be a plus, but not required.
