We are seeking a dynamic SAS Sales Engineer to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Job Description:

As a SAS Sales Engineer you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our technical solutions and our sales efforts. This unique role is a 50/50 blend of technical expertise and sales acumen, requiring you to understand complex analytics and RPA solutions while also being able to communicate their value to potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical (50%):

  • Collaborate with the technical team to gain a deep understanding of our SAS-based analytics solutions and full-service RPA offerings.
  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept projects tailored to client needs, including those involving RPA.
  • Assist in the design and architecture of SAS and RPA solutions that meet specific client requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the pre-sales process, ensuring a smooth transition to the implementation team.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in SAS , RPA, and industry trends to provide cutting-edge solutions.

Sales (50%):

  • Partner with the sales team to identify and qualify new business opportunities in both SAS and RPA domains.
  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their business challenges and articulate how Our Client 's SAS and RPA solutions can address those needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
  • Support the sales team in the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, and sales presentations, highlighting the benefits of our analytics and automation services.
  • Work closely with marketing to provide input on collateral, webinars, and other sales enablement materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales or sales engineering role, preferably with a focus on SAS, RPA, or similar analytics and automation platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of SAS software, RPA tools, and related.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in solution selling and a track record of successfully supporting sales efforts.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
