As the Information Technology Compliance Manager, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance across the organization with regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), standards such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and management of System Security Plans. This position if being offered as hybrid after completion of 60 days onsite at our Inland Empire location. It is full time with full benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the IT compliance efforts to ensure that all relevant SOX requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain IT SOX control documentation, including process flowcharts, risk and control matrices, and narratives.
  • Identify and remediate SOX control deficiencies, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify risks, gaps, and areas of improvement in IT systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement and monitor necessary controls to ensure compliance with NIST standards.
  • Develop, update, and maintain the organization’s Security System Plan (SSP) in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Ensure that all IT systems and processes align with the security and compliance requirements outlined in the SSP.
  • Oversee the IT change management process to ensure that changes to systems and applications are reviewed, approved, and documented in accordance with compliance requirements.
  • Work with IT and business units to implement effective controls to mitigate risks related to compliance, data security, and change management.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of compliance controls and risk mitigation strategies..
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all compliance-related activities, including audit trails, risk assessments, and change management logs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT compliance focusing on SOX, NIST, and change management.
  • In-depth knowledge of SOX and NIST regulations.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining System Security Plans.
  • Strong understanding of IT controls, risk management principles, and audit methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven project management skills and experience in leading change management processes.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) will be an advantage.
