What You‘ll Do

  • Respond to customers‘ and/or shippers‘ questions or in some cases complaints
  • Provide routing information and issuing shipping instructions to ensure deliveries arrive on time and to their correct location. Work with Carriers / Customers on Reconsignment & Redelivery requests.
  • At times assist with Freight Damage & Equipment / Parts Returns.
  • Prepare quotes for customers, which will involve examining products or materials to estimate quantities or weight and type of container required for storage or transport.
  • Other Customer Service duties including but not limited to: Answering sales calls, preparing quotes, and order entry.

What You‘ll Bring

  • High school diploma required, advanced education preferred; experience working in a customer-focused role.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; able to present information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Knowledge with computer packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.

Working Conditions

The Customer Service Representative primarily works in an office environment, however, may occasionally be required to perform duties in a manufacturing and/or warehouse setting. Proper safety training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
