Our year-round, structured curriculum introduces children to 12 different ball sports and helps them master 6 key areas of motor development. Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Sports Coach at Amazing Athletes. As a Sports Coach, your day-to-day tasks will include conducting physical education classes, coaching children in various sports, and providing sports related fun to children ages 2-6 years old at daycares and recreational facilities. This role is located in Fort Washington and surrounding towns. Coaches travel to different schools each day. Must be willing to travel to the following towns.

THIS IS A PART TIME MORNING POSITION

Coaches can expect to work roughly 2-3 hours per morning (between the hours of 9am and 12pm) teaching anywhere from 3-6 half hour classes each morning. These classes are high energy, fast paced classes. Must be able to run around with the kids and have fun

Coaches start off at $12.00 per half hour class (roughly $24.00 per hour) and can work their way up to $20.00 per class (roughly $40.00 per hour) based on performance.


Qualifications

  • Preferred experience working with young children (ages 2-6) OR a strong comfort level around kids
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of sports
  • Passion for working with children
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Super fun and energetic - must be good with people
  • CPR and First Aid certification (would be provided if not already obtained)
