As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Accounting to support our growth and strengthen our financial operations./ph2Job Summary/h2pThe Manager, Accounting oversees the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and adherence to internal policies. This role leads a team of accountants, partners cross-functionally with operations, and plays a key role in supporting strategic business objectives./ph3Financial Reporting Close Management/h3ulliLead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to deliver timely and accurate financial statements./liliReview balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements for accuracy and GAAP compliance./liliPrepare and present financial reporting packages with variance analysis and performance insights./liliEnsure accurate consolidation of multi-entity transactions./li/ulh3General Ledger Oversight/h3ulliOversee journal entries, accruals, allocations, and account reconciliations./liliMaintain balance sheet integrity through regular review of reserves, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and intercompany activity./liliEstablish and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls./li/ulh3Budgeting, Forecasting Financial Analysis/h3ulliPartner with operations to support annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and property-level financial planning./liliAnalyze variances and provide actionable insights to drive operational decision-making./liliSupport profitability analysis, cost controls, labor analysis, and hospitality-specific performance metrics./li/ulh3Compliance, Audit Risk Management/h3ulliEnsure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and federal/state/local regulations./liliCoordinate internal and external audits, including schedules, documentation, and responses./liliSupport sales use tax and property tax compliance./liliIdentify risks and control gaps; recommend and implement corrective actions./li/ulh3Team Leadership Development/h3ulliManage, coach, and develop accounting staff, including workload planning and performance management./liliSet clear expectations, deadlines, and accountability standards./liliFoster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on accuracy and continuous improvement./liliAssist with hiring, onboarding, and training as the organization grows./li/ulh3Systems, Process Improvement Automation/h3ulliEvaluate and enhance accounting processes for efficiency and scalability./liliLead or support system upgrades, automation initiatives, and new property onboarding./liliDevelop and maintain SOPs for consistency and knowledge retention./liliPartner with Operations, Payroll, HR, and IT to streamline workflows and improve data integrity./li/ulh3Cross-Functional Strategic Support/h3ulliServe as a key liaison to operations leadership on accounting treatment and financial implications./liliLead lender communications and coordinate monthly financial distributions./liliSupport ownership with property-level accounting questions, cash needs, and audit requirements./liliContribute to special projects including acquisitions, new openings, and system implementations./liliAssist the Director of Accounting with departmental planning and strategic initiatives./li/ulh2Required Qualifications/h2ulliBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)./lili5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role./liliStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting./liliProficiency with accounting systems such as Yardi Voyager 7S, RealPage, Oracle NetSuite./liliAdvanced Excel skills./liliExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities./li/ulh2Preferred Competencies/h2ulliProven leadership and team development experience./liliHigh attention to detail and accuracy./liliAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment./liliStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills./li/ulpNDM Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws./p/div
