Accounting Manager

Vaco is hiring an Accounting Manager Location: Boca Raton, FL Compensation - $130-$145/annually The Accounting Manager is responsible for supporting the company's accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role partners closely with finance leadership and oversees day-to-day accounting activities, internal controls, and reporting processes. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the monthly close process Prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Review general ledger activity and support accurate recordkeeping Help evaluate and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Support technical accounting research as needed Assist with audits and coordination with external auditors Provide guidance, training, and oversight to accounting staff Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong leadership experience Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and U.S. GAAP Experience with financial reporting and month-end close Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems Ability to work cross-functionally and support process improvement Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
