Laboratory Support Manager

Our partner is global leader across a wide range of testing and laboratory services, including pharmacology, genomics, and clinical studies. They are in search of a Lab Support Manager for their site in Centennial, CO.


Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm

(100% on-site)

Salary: $70k - $85k

Direct Hire Opportunity


Responsibilities:

  • Work cross-functionally across departments, delivering professional services and while ensuring effective communication.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff and provide leadership in laboratory support, specimen logistics, data entry, and client services.
  • Act as a liaison between laboratory operations and customer services, building strong client relationships.
  • Establish and evaluate productivity and metrics, ensuring compliance with procedures and updating SOPs.
  • Work with laboratory management and other departments to optimize support systems and processes.
  • Lead continuous enhancement initiatives to manage lab growth while maintaining quality standards.
  • Assist in laboratory budget management and vendor contracts.
  • Provide mentoring to teammates and participate in hiring and performance reviews.
  • Engage in departmental goal-setting and represent the organization positively, adhering to company standards and ethical practices.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 3+ years of personnel management experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of laboratory support experience preferred.
  • Industry experience working in lab setting within Microbiology, Infectious Disease or Immunogenetics areas.
  • Must have prior experience working in the Healthcare industry.
  • Experience working with infectious human blood and body fluids while using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and interpersonal capabilities.
  • Exemplifies good leadership ability, working cross-functionally across different teams.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in PC-based software applications.
