This position is a full-time, salaried position with a minimum requirement of 45 working hours per week including nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts will vary on a weekly basis between regular office hours to late evenings. As the General Manager, you should be well-organized and possess a sound knowledge of event management. Excellent communication and attention to detail skills are vital in this role, as our success depends on meeting our client’s tailored requests. This position reports to the Director of Operations.


Manager Responsibilities

· Interviewing, hiring, and management of part-time staff

· Development of management team

· Creating of weekly staffing schedule

· Facilitates the planning, preparation, and organization of events

· Assists with the facilitation of tours, both in-person and virtual

· Addresses questions/communication from/with clients that are contracted with BRB

· On-site Manager at all events, which includes closing at the end of the night

· Manage event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes

· Answering questions and addressing concerns of BRB clients, their guests, and the vendors during each event

· Anything assigned by Management


Manager Requirements

· Comfortable troubleshooting complex IT programs


Qualifications and/or experience

· High School Diploma or GED required

· 4-year degree from an accredited university in Hospitality, Event Management, Business Administration, or related major preferred

· 2 – 4 years of experience in Event Management OR Management

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required

· Proficient computer skills
