Accounting Manager Salt Lake City, Utah (Hybrid) Our client, a private family office with a diversified investment portfolio, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning across multiple entities and asset classes. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys variety - moving seamlessly between day-to-day accounting and higher-level financial strategy. The position offers exposure to a broad range of activities, including real estate, partnerships, and private investments. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Operations Manage daily accounting functions (AP, AR, GL, reconciliations) Lead the month-end and year-end close for multiple entities Prepare journal entries, accruals, and financial statements Support audit, tax filings, and compliance Financial Analysis & Reporting Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning Provide financial insights, KPI reporting, and ad-hoc analysis Create clean financial packages for leadership Strategic & Cross-Functional Work Partner with leadership on special projects and new investments Support real estate, investment, and operating entity financial management Step into entry-level accounting tasks when needed to keep operations moving Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–7+ years of progressive accounting experience; real estate, multi-entity, or family-office experience a plus Strong GAAP knowledge and financial analysis experience Highly adaptable with strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working independently and wearing multiple hats PrincePerelson & Associates is an Equal Opportunity Employer and we do not discriminate against applicants due to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, veteran status, or on the basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
