Prominent utility contractor seeking an experienced Field Project Manager to oversee a range of transmission and distribution projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring all aspects of the project are completed within budget, on schedule, and according to scope. Effective communication with stakeholders, clients, and team members is essential. This role requires significant travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage project planning and execution.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Determine project tasks and necessary resources.
  • Develop detailed project plans.
  • Assemble and coordinate project teams.
  • Oversee project budgets, timelines, and schedules.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables are achieved.
  • Provide updates to stakeholders and team members regularly.
  • Mentor and support project team members in their tasks.
  • Ensure quality control throughout the project.
  • Prepare and present reports on project status, challenges, and solutions.
  • Manage project changes and interventions to meet goals.
  • Review and complete timesheets daily or weekly, accurately reporting labor and equipment use.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field within the Utility Industry.
  • Strong expertise in project planning and management.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational communication skills.
  • Experience with Procore is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to travel extensively as needed (80%-100%).
