Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in project management and a strong understanding of Smartsheet. In this role, you will oversee and manage various projects within our corporate home health and hospice services, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.At VitalCaring, our team members transform lives and foster hope through genuine caring. As the Project Manager, your responsibilities will be:
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Manage project schedules and track project performance using Smartsheet and other tools.
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communication.
Prepare and present project updates, reports, and documentation to stakeholders.
Facilitate regular project meetings and ensure all team members are aligned with project goals.
Risk and Issue Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Address project issues promptly and effectively to ensure minimal disruption to project timelines.
Resource Management:
Allocate and manage resources efficiently, including team members and budget.
Collaborate with other departments to secure necessary resources and support.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Experience to Deliver on Our Mission:
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management.
Proven experience with Smartsheet or similar project management software.
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on proactive risk management and issue resolution.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar certification is a plus.
