Technical Accounting Manager

Our client, a publicly traded company, is looking for a Manager of Technical Accounting to join their well established corporate accounting team. Leadership is of the mentor mindset helping employees grow, wonderful culture.

This role is hybrid role, ability to get into the office in Darien is key.

Responsibilities:
  • Documenting technical accounting positions in memos and presentations to leadership.
  • Performing technical accounting research on various topics including revenue recognition, business combinations and impairment analyses.
  • Ability to consult with third party advisors, where necessary.
  • Support business combination accounting / purchase accounting (ASC 805).
  • Management of lease accounting
  • Assist with the preparation of more technical footnotes in Form 10-K & 10-Q.
  • Assist with the external audits as needed
