About the Role:

We are working with a Series B funded FinTech in the embedded finance space who have raised over 70M in funding, and are growing rapidly.


We are seeking a senior, experienced, and dynamic Director of Sales with a proven track record of success to leverage our client’s embedded lending platform and drive strategic business opportunities. The Director of Sales will be crucial in acquiring new customers and driving revenue growth in a fast-paced market, positioning our client as a leading industry player.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and increase revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential enterprise merchants, engaging prospects to drive business growth.
  • Build a sales pipeline by targeting key customer accounts.
  • Align with company goals to expand the customer base by signing deals with strategic new and existing customers.
  • Continuously improve and refine the sales process to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.


Main Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven sales experience with a record of meeting or exceeding targets in the Fintech industry.
  • Background in prime lending or SaaS companies specializing in payments or fraud solutions for merchants.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies while aligning with company goals.
  • Experience in solution selling to merchants with digital/financial products; ability to simplify complex information.
  • Problem solver with the ability to interact with senior executives.
  • Analytical thinker who can quickly adapt to the changing financial environment.
  • Ability to gain buy-in from senior management through clear communication and alignment on key success factors.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales
