Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management:
  • Lead and mentor a team of project managers, site supervisors, and field staff.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiencies and project delivery.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the operations team.
  • Project Oversight:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of electrical construction projects for multifamily developments.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed quality standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., procurement, finance, human resources) to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management:
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients or other stakeholders promptly.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and provide updates to senior management and clients.
  • Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including forecasting and cost control.
  • Monitor project financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure profitability.
  • Approve project expenditures and manage subcontractor payments.
  • Compliance and Quality Control:
  • Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
  • Implement and monitor quality control programs to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the operations team.
  • Promote professional development and career advancement opportunities for team members.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical construction management, with a focus on multifamily projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale multifamily electrical projects.
  • Experience in a leadership role with responsibility for managing teams and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
