Overview of the Job

What Does a Typical Day Look Like for a Brand Copywriter?
As our Copywriter, your key role involves producing empowering content that aligns with our 'Move for what moves you' lifestyle and inspires the audience to lead an active life throughout all life's moments. Collaborating with all departments, from Advertising to Marketing and Social Media, you will write copy that informs and entertains, elevating our brand's presence across various platforms, such as our website, online ads, and community events.
Responsibilities:
-Research and write compelling, on-brand captions for all social media accounts.
-Generate engaging social copy for platforms like Instagram and TikTok, fostering direct audience interaction.
-Brainstorm and contribute to creative social media campaigns and projects.
-Develop content direction for major and minor marketing campaigns, including slogans, taglines and copy direction for e-commerce and email marketing
-Keep abreast of the latest fashion and entertainment trends to create relevant, shareable content.
-Support the Asia-based Ecommerce Copy team with e-commerce promotiona messaging, product launches, and email copy as needed. Strive for workflow efficiency and automation.
-Assist the Asia-based customer service team by updating response templates for various communication scenarios across social media, customer reviews and third party sites
-Name products, fabrics, and collections, and craft engaging product descriptions for our website.
-Ideate & develop scripts for video content and ads that are entertaining and align with our brand persona.
-Serve as a role model in maintaining brand tone consistency across different platforms.
Qualifications:
-BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
-5-10 years of experience in writing and editing for an apparel or footwear brand, for social, e-commerce, and upper funnel brand experience
-Understanding of key success metrics such as email open rates and banner click-through rates, alongside other marketing best practices.
-Adept in a startup environment, capable of meeting tight deadlines.
-Exceptional spelling and grammar skills, along with creative copy skills
-Entrepreneurial and creative mindset, strategic, and ready to take on tasks of any scale.
