The Role:
A series C EdTech company with huge success in transforming their learning outcomes and are in a new growth phase. They are looking to bring on board a CTO with a culture of cross-collaboration to oversee 4 teams of engineering managers and a VP of engineering, helping to redefine their product roadmap. Our employees have the opportunity to break down barriers to international education while advancing their careers in an environment that fosters professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Align technical roadmaps with business goals to develop a cohesive strategy spanning short, medium, and long-term objectives.
- Actively engage in hands-on technical tasks as needed, such as system architecture, coding, and deployment, to drive innovation and maintain technical credibility.
- Devise phased architectural evolution plans, considering business continuity and minimizing disruptions, while ensuring scalability and performance enhancement.
- Conduct due diligence on emerging technologies, advocating for those aligned with business needs and architectural vision, anticipating integration challenges, and ensuring seamless transitions.
- Maintain a strong focus on software quality, reliability, and security throughout the development lifecycle
- Build and nurture a high-performing engineering team
