Job Summary:

As the Quality Management Representative (QMR) at H&D Distributors, Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing the quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO standards and other regulatory requirements. You will lead initiatives to continuously improve product quality, processes, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management System (QMS): Manage and maintain the QMS in compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Ensure documentation is up to date and that all quality processes are followed.
  • Audit Management: Plan, conduct, and manage internal and external audits. Prepare reports and work with relevant teams to address any non-conformities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve efficiency.
  • Training & Development: Conduct training sessions for employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Monitor customer feedback and complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Work with the sales and production teams to enhance customer experience.
  • Compliance: Ensure all operations are compliant with industry regulations, company policies, and ISO standards. Stay updated with changes in regulations and update the QMS accordingly.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and implement corrective actions as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality management, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment, with exposure to the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Certifications: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is highly desirable.


Skills:

  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
