Design team seeks a product designer for a flagship NT product in the asset owner fintech space. We are the nexus for our product team bringing together tech, business, and product with a client lens. Our work focusses on user flow, simplifying and visualizing data analysis, and generally making NASA-level data and calculations simple and beautiful.


Responsibilities

  • Understand desires of client and create attractive product
  • Work closely with product managers and other teams (sales and marketing) to establish plan for product release Acknowledge budget and make plans in order to follow financial guidelines
  • Create product prototypes prior to creating final product
  • Adjust approach towards designs based on feedback provided


Qualifications

  • 2 - 5 years UX or interaction design experience, and/or education in design or a related field  
  • Experience designing web applications and using responsive design best practices ideally in a enterprise environment
  • Design thinking and UI/UX best practices, as demonstrated in a portfolio   
  • Ability to recognize, predict and incorporate use cases and user interactions in design  
  • Excellent oral communication, written communication, presentation and facilitation skills are required  
  • Experience working with a cross-functional team or large-scale software development lifecycle, preferably in an agile environment  
  • Creating and implementing accessible (WCAG 2.1) designs  
  • Using or building design systems  
  • Proficiency in graphic design, motion graphics, digital art, as well as a sensitivity to typography, color, layout, and a general awareness of materials/textures  
  • Experience gathering user feedback and making informed UX decision
