Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Construction Services Manager to lead and expand our Gastonia, NC office. If you are a proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and approaches tasks with a "can-do" attitude, we encourage you to explore the job responsibilities and qualifications below.


Key Responsibilities:

Conduct field and laboratory testing of construction materials.

Manage, train, and schedule inspection and testing staff.

Prepare daily field reports, photo documentation, and maintain comprehensive construction reports.

Provide clear and accurate documentation of findings and results.

Perform basic data analysis to verify accuracy before communicating and submitting to clients and project managers.

Ensure quality standards are maintained across all projects.


Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in a related field is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction inspection/materials testing.

Ability to obtain NCDOT/SCDOT Certifications such as soil compaction, asphalt testing, soils, and aggregate inspection.

Valid driver's license.

Excellent communication and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Capable of occasionally lifting equipment up to 50 lbs.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans.

Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Flexible schedule, including the ability to travel and work some evenings and weekends as needed.
