Our Challenge:

As an Database Developer, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to work on complex technical requirements. You will be responsible for managing multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a fast-paced environment.


Requirements:

You are:

  • Proven experience as a Database Developer with a strong focus on regulatory reporting, specifically FR Y-14Q reporting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Teradata development with a focus on regulatory reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of Teradata SQL, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and Teradata Parallel Transporter (TPT).
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices, particularly in the context of regulatory reporting.
  • Experience with ETL tools and processes, such as Informatica or Talend, for regulatory data integration.
  • Should have the capability to understand requirements and convert to design
  • Ability to coordinate with SMEs, stakeholders, manage timelines, escalation & provide on time status - strong project management skills as well
  • Good knowledge in Teradata concepts and Logical/physical database design
  • In-depth knowledge of Performance tuning and optimization to handle and process large volume of data in Teradata
  • Experience in SQL programming (views/store procedures/macros/functions) based on User requirements and architectural guidelines and standards
  • Good knowledge of BI/DW concepts
  • In-depth knowledge of Performance tuning and optimization to handle and process large volume of data in Teradata

  • Experience in writing Unix Shell scripting is a must
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
