Job Overview:

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of hotel operations to maximize profitability while delivering exceptional guest experiences. This hands-on role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills to drive hotel performance, develop the team, and uphold the Marriott brand standards.

Responsibilities:


  • Financial Performance: Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue, control expenses, and meet financial goals.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure superior guest service by implementing quality standards and resolving guest issues promptly.
  • Team Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing team through effective coaching, training, and motivation.
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including sales, marketing, food and beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance.
  • Community Engagement: Build strong relationships within the local community to enhance the hotel's reputation.


Qualifications:


  • Proven track record in hotel management with a strong emphasis on profitability and guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Experience in the nearby markets of Louisville, Cincinnati, or Indianapolis is highly desirable.
