Job Summary


Work to help promote the UWCA values and build positive relationships with agencies. Assist in planning and coordinating professional development training.


Responsibilities

Assist with identifying, designing, and implementing professional development and skills development opportunities for partner agencies.

Assist with identifying and implementing programs to enhance the relationship between funded agencies and UWCA.

Assist with the volunteer process associated with the annual allocations processes chair and team recruitment, organizing volunteer assignments.

Assist with educating volunteers about the VAT process.

Assist in recruiting VAT volunteers and the overall VAT process.

Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


Knowledge & Skills

Encourage a cooperative working relationship with United Way Departments, other United Ways, United Way of America, partners, and community agencies.

Perform other duties as requested by the VP of Agency Relations.

Mastery of word processing and presentation applications.

Positive and collaborative attitude to do allfacets of the work required.

Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.

Excellent oral and written communication.


Education/Experience

Current enrollment in a 4-year college


Working Conditions


Normal office environment with some travel.


Requirements

Valid driver’s license

Reliable transportation

Proof of automobile insurance.
