Interim FP&A Manager/Director – Distribution FP&A


Summary

This role will be a key backfill in supporting the existing Worldwide Distribution FP&A team during the testing phase of a software implementation. As a key member of the Worldwide Distribution FP&A team, they will meaningfully support the consolidation and analysis of quarterly forecasts, annual budget, mid-range plans and ultimates across TV Distribution and Home Entertainment. This role will also support the Motion Picture (MPG) and Television (TVP) product lines of business (Product Owners).


Responsibilities:


Consolidation

  • Support consolidation and analysis of the financial budgets, quarterly forecasts, and multi-year plan
  • Ensure FP&A system is accurately updated. Maintain hierarchies and develop new reports as needed
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly CFO presentations and ad hoc analysis
  • Support the coordination of the forecast cycle, including communication with all stakeholders involved alongside internal team
  • Collaborate with global FP&A, IT, and Commercial teams to optimize processes
  • Review regional forecast submissions (variance analysis) as part of quarterly forecast process
  • Assist with the Cash Flow forecast including running updates from PBCS
  • Running ad-hoc cash analysis
  • Assist in planning of Marketing & DCS cost
  • Assist in the preparation of month end close analysis


MPG / TVP Product Owner Support

  • Perform reconciliations between PBCS and SAP/BPC (Company Wide Planning tool)
  • Prepare and update TV Product Passes
  • Prepare title variance analysis vs Budget and Prior Forecast
  • Responsible for product assumption tracking, calculating, and publishing to the distribution organization.
  • Track and analyze Ultimates to ensure accuracy
  • Update forecast to reflect latest slate/product assumptions


Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate analyses into decisions and actions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills, familiarity with other Office 365 applications (SAP, Power BI, Tableau a plus)
  • Excellent time management, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with financial statements and large data sets
  • Self-motivated with high standards and attention to detail, along with an excellent work ethic
  • Independent worker and able to manage multiple deliverables
  • Continually searches for opportunities to improve internal processes
  • Solid business acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience minimum
  • Entertainment / Media / Television Distribution experience preferred
  • BA/BS degree (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or other analytical disciplines preferred)
