The Media Planner & Marketing Manager is responsible for helping to create, design and deliver integrated

marketing programs that support Firecrown’s aviation & hobby industry brands and clients. The

role requires working directly with Group President, sales teams, and channel ops teams to

ideate custom partnership programs, create presentations and sales collateral, and assist in the

pre-sale operations of entering and tracking these campaigns in our campaign management

system.


The ideal candidate will be well-versed in creating multi-channel digital campaigns and able to

manage multiple programs/projects at one time. Interfacing with internal marketing, editorial,

design, and digital teams and managing freelance resources, the Marketing Manager will serve

as the central point of contact for their assigned initiatives and programs. Experience with copy

writing and/or creative writing and advertising agency experience is a plus.


Responsibilities:

The Marketing Manager will:

● Assist sales teams by creating new-business proposals and integrated marketing

programs that generate revenue for the company and meet client objectives.

● At the direction of the Group President, manage the process of proposal and sales

collateral development, working closely with graphic designers, salespeople and

members of brand and channel teams.

● Assist sales representatives with entering and tracking their digital campaigns into

Firecrown’s campaign management system, for optimal tracking and smooth transition

from ideation phase into execution phase. This will require interfacing with sales, design,

editorial, digital advertising, social media, and web development teams.

● Be the expert of the Aviation and Hobby groups with respect to their digital product

offerings – bringing new product and packaging ideas to the forefront.

● Help the sales team for each Group understand and keep tabs on the prime open digital

product inventory and lead product education sessions as necessary, alongside each

Group President.


Requirements:

● 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience.

● Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

● Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

● Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

● Exceptional client service and overall customer-service orientation.

● Ability to prioritize, time-manage and adhere to tight deadlines.

● Ability to interpret and analyze data to form unique insights and make strategic decisions

and recommendations.

● Enthusiasm about marketing and a strong drive to continue to improve results.

● Strong critical and strategic thinking skills.

● Ability to think and work across several different marketing and media-related

disciplines.

●A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, journalism or related

Field.

●Advertising agency and/or editorial experience a plus. Experience with Adobe Photoshop

and/or InDesign a plus.
