Assistant Project Manager
Job Summary:
The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Managers with daily operations and project planning for multiple sites. The ideal candidate should have a background in construction related field.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Approve timecards and keep track of technician’s hours.
- Track man hours used on each project.
- Equip technicians with proper tools.
- Rent necessary equipment for each site as needed.
- Check credit card statements.
- Conduct site visits.
- Assist with approving box drawings.
- Approve Walk In Technicians expense reports.
- Check in on and assist technicians in field.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being
- developed.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- The ability to travel as needed.
The following skills are helpful:
- Electrical diagnosis
- Electrical wiring of 120V-208V circuits
- Conduit cutting, bending and installation.
- PVC plumbing, cutting and installation.
- PEX piping plumbing and installation.
- Knowledge of multiple tools.
