POSITION SUMMARY:
Moonshot Solutions' Senior Business Development Manager will drive our services' growth by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, developing strategic partnerships internally and externally. This role requires a strong understanding of the IT services landscape, excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated history of success in business development. This is a true business development hunting opportunity with base, commissions and benefits.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various industries to expand our client base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
- Pressure-test individual networks at the highest level.
- Develop and maintain a clear understanding of the Moonshot Story and the ability to articulate it.
- Develop and maintain a clear understanding of how to present Moonshot’s capabilities.
- Qualify, move, manage, and close business opportunities with limited oversight.
- Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of services and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
- Understand and share the 3 Pillars of our Business: Managed Services, Professional Services, and Staffing Services.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance our market presence.
- Attend daily Priority Board meetings to contribute ideas and solutions.
- Provide weekly reports and updates to senior management on business development activities and performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years in IT Sales, Services, and/or Staffing
- Demonstrated experience hunting opportunities with heavy external activity
- Strong understanding of IT consulting services, including staffing/recruiting, co-managed services, MSP & MSSP.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
