About the Position:
Hiring a Director of Safety and Risk Management responsible for leading the safety function across all operations and locations. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing systems, protocols, and accountabilities that result in solid employee engagement, compliance, and operational excellence. This position will strategically balance costs and return on necessary and desired safety initiatives.
Requirements:
• 10+ years of safety experience in the construction industry (steel erection preferred) with demonstrated success in building and driving a change to the organization's safety culture.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in environmental health & safety, industrial hygiene, or related discipline.
• Certification: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification is preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of OSHA standards and the ability to conduct training for each discipline.
• Familiarity with steel erection preferred.
