Job description:

Summary:

  • This is a temporary contract opportunity with The Cigna Group through Magnit, an enterprise third-party vendor for contingent work.

Skills & Experience:

  • Delivers straightforward administrative and/or other basic business services in Eligibility.
  • Implements and maintains eligibility for benefits. Implements, updates, and maintains automated, direct connect and/or manual eligibility data.
  • Interacts with internal partners and/or external clients/vendors.
  • Generates reports to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities for own cases.
  • May negotiate and resolve eligibility with clients.
  • May provide technical support for the electronic processing of eligibility.
  • Ensures customer data is installed accurately and timely.
  • May work with client's format and internal Systems to resolve errors.
  • May interact with Systems to resolve technical issues.
  • General knowledge of manual and automated eligibility.
  • Familiar with reporting tools.
  • Technical understanding of systems. Issues tend to be routine in nature.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Eligibility and business/operating processes and procedures.
  • Works to clearly defined procedures under close supervision.


Education:

  • Pharmacy background is not necessary but preferred, work at home experience, computer savvy, must be familiar with Microsoft programs specifically Excell & Word, PowerPoint & one note, must be reliable with great attendance.
  • High School Diploma
  • **Candidates will make and take calls with this role, but it is production based, not an inbound phone role or contact center job.**
  • *Insurance Experience a Plus*
  • *Call Center Experience Plus*


Location and Schedule Notes:

  • Regular Schedule: 10 AM CST- 7 PM CST
  • Training Schedule: 8 AM CST - 5 PM CST
  • 100% Remote but the manager wants candidates within the Warrendale, PA area in case they need to come onsite occasionally.
  • Notes: Candidates must be reliable, with reliable internet. Must have the ability and experience to WAH. Must know how to set up equipment and navigate a computer.


Pay Rate & Benefits:

  • Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, and expectation)
  • The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $15.00-$20.00/hour on W2.
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met)


QUALIFICATION/ LICENSURE :

  • Work Authorization : US Citizen
  • Preferred years of experience : 1+ Years
  • Travel Required : No travel required
  • Shift timings: 8 AM - 6.30 PM
