GWBD Operations, based in Kansas City, MO, is a holding company that owns and operates PRIER Products, Inc., Stern-Williams, LLC and Fiat Products, LLC. GWBD Operations is in business to BUILD with PURPOSE, top-quality plumbing and fixture products for the residential and commercial building industries that help PEOPLE, protect the PLANET, and make a PROFIT.

·      PRIER manufactures high quality residential, commercial, ground hydrants, angle sill faucets, plumbing brass, drainage products and specialty valves out of our Grandview, MO campus.

·      Stern-Williams’ plant is in Carterville, MO. Producing high quality terrazzo mop sinks and shower bases along with steel and aggregate drinking fountains, shower towers and accessories.

·      Fiat designs, develops, and manufactures a wide array of durable high-quality products from acrylic and terrazzo shower bases to mop basins and laundry tubs. Fiat’s manufacturing facilities are in Somerset, KY with sales and administrative offices in Grandview, MO.

 

Overview – Business Intelligence Associate

We are looking for a trustworthy, enthusiastic, curious and passionate customer-oriented professional with a very high attention to detail who can help us achieve our goal of being our customer’s best vendor. The right candidate will blend in with a team that works extremely well together to provide our customers with a positive customer service experience. 

Every growing company who puts the customer first needs a data expert who is beyond curious and has the experience to understand the where, who, when and why of the business and communicate those learnings to the organization and customers. You will work with internal teams – Finance, General & Administration, Human Resources, Sales – in developing commission reporting and customer debits/credits for each company. The right candidate will influence GWBD’s Sales and Marketing approach through their intelligent data insight.

You will enter orders into GWBD’s ERP system, acknowledge orders and shipments to customers, interact with GWBD’s manufacturer’s representative team to assure they have the tools to be successful in the field. You will also be our customers’ first impression of our brands as you answer phone calls and emails about pricing, availability and technical product support. 

Responsibilities

·      Period reporting on revenue, commissions and representative performance gathered from our ERP system for all GWBD companies.  

·      Salesforce CRM database management. Ensure data is accurate, work with VP of Sales for periodic dashboard and report development.

·      Interact and support GWBD’s National and Regional Managers & Manufacturer’s Representatives to ensure they have the tools necessary to succeed in their territories.

·      Gather and analyze data for each company to identify KPIs and present product and market trends to sales and marketing team with actionable insights.

·      Provide training and support to team members on BI tools and data interpretation.

·      Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.

·      Order entry, order checking, returned goods authorization creation and invoicing.

·      As needed, interact via telephone, email, social media with GWBD customers.

·      Whatever else is required to assist in the day-to-day operation of the GWBD Sales & Marketing Department.


Qualifications

Computer Knowledge Skills:

·      Knowledge of ERP systems and Salesforce a plus.

·      Experience with Microsoft Office – needs to have advanced Excel skills.

·      Ability and eagerness to learn new systems and adapt to changes in the workplace.


Communication Skills:

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·      Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with our customers.

·      Excellent documentation skills.

·      Excellent listening skills to help in diagnosing and assisting our customers solve their problems.

·      Ability to work both independently and part of our team.


Customer Focus Skills:

·      Proven excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment from diagnosis of the issue to solution and having a satisfied customer.

·      Ability to empathize with the customer and become their advisor.

·      Ability to determine the customers’ needs and propose a solution.

·      Conflict resolution and de-escalation strategies are a plus.
