Position Title: Automotive Parts Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Parts Counter Person to join our team In this role, you will be responsible for managing parts inventory, processing invoices, ordering vehicle parts, and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for automotive parts, strong problem-solving skills, and a desire to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Additional Information:
- Pay Range: $22-$28/hour
- Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
- Location: In-office
Job Duties:
- Manage and maintain accurate parts inventory, ensuring availability of required parts for body shop repairs.
- Process invoices and orders efficiently using basic computer systems.
- Order parts from various suppliers, ensuring timely delivery to meet repair schedules.
- Assist customers and technicians in identifying and sourcing the correct parts for vehicles.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues related to parts orders or inventory.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and contribute to the overall success of the body shop.
- Continuously learn about new parts, technologies, and suppliers to improve service and efficiency.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Experience with invoicing and ordering.
- Basic computer knowledge, including familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience in the automotive industry, particularly with vehicle parts, is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
