Responsibilities

  • Lead a team comprising design professionals and technicians.
  • Guide and mentor staff to foster high-performance within project teams.
  • Contribute to business development efforts and collaborate on proposals and client relations.
  • Support senior engineers in managing project scope, budget, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Execute intricate engineering design tasks for wastewater projects.
  • Supervise project design and construction to ensure adherence to budget and schedule.
  • Formulate project management plans and set objectives for unique endeavours.
  • Coordinate quality assurance and control measures across designated projects.
  • Participate in the permitting process, particularly for large-scale projects.
  • Direct multidisciplinary teams in managing projects, including research and comprehension of regulatory matters.
  • Assist in projecting revenue and oversee proposal management.

Qualifications:

Capabilities and Credentials:

  • Inspire project teams to higher achievement.
  • Engage employees in discussions on job satisfaction and provide ongoing recognition and feedback.
  • Perform mass & energy balance and process equipment sizing calculations.
  • Understand jurisdictional codes, legal, and design requirements.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years of project management experience, preferably in wastewater projects.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain license within 6 months.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
