Fleet & Telematics Manager


We’re looking for a smart, energetic, and entrepreneurial Fleet & Telematics Manager to join our Team at Nuvo Solutions. In this full-cycle B2B sales support role, you’ll work with SMB decision-makers, managing and positioning the value of our GPS Tracking and Telematics solutions. Specifically how Nuvo will help them run a safer, more efficient, and more profitable business by better managing their fleet vehicles and assets.

As our Fleet & Telematics Manager, you'll focus on developing business pipelines within field-service industries such as construction, landscaping, pest control, plumbing, fire safety, HVAC, and electrical through both outbound and inbound lead management.


Your role involves working closely with small and medium business customers and providing proactive insight on telematics and fleet management products and services, tailored to meet their unique needs. You'll demonstrate the value of our offerings, drive small business results, and generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals. Responsibilities will include managing your book of business, developing pipelines, hosting quarterly business reviews, and driving results through life cycle management and customer development.


We're looking for candidates with experience in the wireless, telematics, or mobility industry, coupled with strong communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. Experience assisting with supporting sales exceeding quotas, influencing teams, and building trust with key-decision makers is highly desirable.


This position is based in our Clayton, North Carolina office, with a potential hybrid-remote option for the right candidate.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Introduce small and medium businesses to our telematics and fleet management solutions, highlighting their unique benefits.
  • Drive new business by demonstrating the value of our products and services, fostering customer relationships, and networking effectively.
  • Maintain expertise in Nuvo Solutions' service/product offerings and industry trends to effectively address customer needs.
  • Represent Nuvo Solutions at industry trade shows to generate leads and promote our brand.
  • Identify key stakeholders and decision makers, using long-term strategic thinking to identify and solve customer pain points with value-added services.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships within the region for developing new prospects and clients, with a focus on hunting new lines of business.
  • Probe for unfulfilled needs of prospects and in turn developing and presenting solutions based upon Merchants value proposition.


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of B2B life-cycle management experience, preferably in SMB, telematics or wireless industries. Sales experience is a plus.
  • 2+ years Direct or indirect leadership experience.
  • 2+ years Mechanical experience
  • 2+ years working in the field service industry
  • Ability to deliver impactful online product demonstrations.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
