Our client, a prominent manufacturing firm, seeks a highly skilled Ignition SCADA Developer on a contract basis to enhance their manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of Ignition SCADA systems across multiple manufacturing sites. This role is critical in ensuring efficient, reliable, and secure operations, contributing to the overall productivity and safety of the manufacturing processes.


Key Responsibilities:

SCADA Development:

  • Design, develop, and implement Ignition SCADA systems.
  • Create and configure HMI (Human-Machine Interface) screens.
  • Integrate SCADA systems with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and other industrial equipment.

System Maintenance and Support:

  • Conduct regular system maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical support and training to on-site staff.
  • Ensure system reliability and uptime.

Data Management:

  • Implement data acquisition and reporting functionalities.
  • Develop dashboards for real-time monitoring and analysis.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data collection for production and quality metrics.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Ignition SCADA development and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMI, and industrial automation systems.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages used in Ignition (e.g., Python, SQL).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
