Duties and Responsibilities:

We are in urgent need for 4 more Technicians for our Repair Shop.  While we are still looking for some entry level Tech’s, willing to increase the pay for at least 2 Techs that are more higher level with a wealth of aerospace experience working on the maintenance of aircraft to $35/hr up to $44/hr.  We will also provide a $5,000 relocation allowance for anyone that might be interested in relocating from out of state.

Repair of aircraft mechanical, fuel, and hydraulic components and accessories such as starters, generators, fuel pumps, hydraulic pumps, actuators, wheels, and brakes according to OEM manual specifications.

Test and inspect parts, subassemblies or completed assemblies.

Document maintenance procedures to include component damage and condition.

Work from assembly prints, test procedures, component maintenance manuals, engineering change orders, or other controlled documents with minimal direction from supervision.

Provide detailed documentation of failure verification, failure cause, parts required and labor estimate to repair in support of quotations to customers.

Properly complete work order signoffs, and other paperwork.

Ensure that all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications.

Comply with safety rules and procedures.

Comply With DOT-FAA Drug and Alcohol Program.

 

Qualifications:

FAA Airframe and Power plant license is preferred but not required.

Must be able to read and write English and be able to comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals.

Must possess a basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines as they apply to aircraft systems.

Prior experience in working in a Part 145 FAA repair station or back shop component level repairs is preferred.

Highly motivated, energetic, and success oriented.

Courteous, tactful, and possess excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.

Proficient in Windows environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel.
