Responsibilities

The Logistics Manager serves as a junior member of staff with Proceanic and plays a critical role in day-to-day operations and logistics administration, management, decisions, and activities. The primary objective of the position is to provide logistics management and support services for Proceanic operations in the Americas and Internationally and to continually develop and improve Proceanic logistics, hse and qms management infrastructure and systems.


The position reports to the VP of Operations and the ROV Operations Manager and interfaces on a day-to-day basis with ROV Supervisors and the Corporate Administrator. The position independently exercises discretionary powers to manage the daily logistic objectives of the company. The position enjoys a junior level degree of autonomy with independence and freedom to make logistics decisions within the scope of the position and within Company policies and management-approved budgetary constraints. As experience is gained, autonomy/independence should increase.

 

Specific duties include:

- Logistics - International Freight/Import/Export/Customs (Equipment)

- Logistics - Equipment Maintenance Management/Expediting/Tracking/RMAs

- Logistics - Equipment Inventory/Data Management/Procurement

- Logistics - International and Domestic Travel Management

- Logistics - Visas/Medicals/D&A and other travel logistics

- Logistics - Personnel Training Management, Tracking & Logistics

- Logistics - Exhibiting Logistics Management

- Logistics - IT & Infrastructure Logistics Management

- Logistics - ISNetworld Administration/HSE Data Management

- Logistics - Develop high-quality working relationships with logistics and other related sub-contractors.

- QMS - Coordinate ISO 9000 QMS Activities as necessary

- Operations – Co-Chair, Host, Minute Monthly Safety Meeting and Oversee Actions

- Operations – Champion all things HSE related

- Operations – Participate in and sometimes Chair weekly Operations Meetings

- Operations - Campaign Logistics Management, supporting ROV Supervisors

- Operations - Support Client Vetting and Vendor Approval activities

- Operations - Support to Corporate Administrator with clerical duties if/when necessary

- Operations - Communicate upward with Corp Admin, ROV Ops Manager, VP of Ops & CEO

- Travel as required

- Other duties as advised from time to time by Senior Management.

 

Qualifications

This position is a Junior Level, Junior Management Position for personnel with 1 - 3 Years of Experience.

Skills: Communication, Time Management, Multi-Tasking, Logistics Management

Education: Logistics or Supply Chain Degree or Certification preferred

Other: US Citizen or US Work Authorized (Houston domicile preferred)

Full Clean Driver's License, Passport
