Job Specification:

  • Power plant experience required
  • Fluent in English
  • Minimum 5-10 years' experience in scheduling for combined cycle power plants


Role: The Site Scheduler provides leadership in planning and scheduling for the project site under the guidance of the Project Scheduler (PS). Depending on project complexity, the PS and SS roles may be unified under one individual.


Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Primary scheduling interface for site manager, site team, consortium partner, and PS regarding schedule-related matters
  • Oversight of site scheduling team deliverables, if applicable
  • Ensures accurate and timely updates, analysis, and reporting of site schedule and construction monitoring systems
  • Ensures compliance of site scheduling activities with company scheduling procedures
  • Prepares site-specific scheduling procedures in consultation with site manager
  • Supports subcontractor interface milestones during contract negotiations
  • Leads development and updates of site schedule and contractor schedules
  • Coordinates with project management, consortium partners, subcontractors, and customers to validate progress and schedule data
  • Generates periodic schedule reports, identifies delays and critical paths, and recommends recovery scenarios
  • Leads coordination meetings, interactive planning sessions, and forecast assessments
  • Develops what-if scenarios and special schedule analyses as needed
  • Coordinates handovers from various site functions and communicates schedule priorities based on analysis
  • Supports monthly project schedule reviews
  • Ensures quality and timing of work in progress update
  • Maintains project execution history for commercial and contractual purposes
  • Provides leadership and motivation to site scheduling team when applicable
  • Raises concerns regarding decisions affecting key completion dates, resources, costs, or potential delays
  • Sets priorities aligned with site management team and PS targets
